    I received my 5″ Nextion case. Two questions: 1) Why was the speaker moved to the bottom of the case? 2) what is the RF/Mic hole in front panel used for? I assume for some RF gain control? Do you have any reference to it?

      The speaker has been moved at bottom of as its more convenient mounting place as most commercial tcvrs do.
      The top cover is left free.
      The RF mic control can be used same way as the audio amp control. a small board could be built on the 10k control and include a mic gain circuit.
